NOVEC Loudoun County Service Center
NOVEC Loudon County Service Center Coming to Aldie, VA
The Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is a locally based non-profit power company that’s owned and operated by its customers. NOVEC services the entire Nothern Virginia Region including Loudon County, Virgina. In fact, Loudon County is one of the fastest growing areas in the region. As a result, a new customer service center is currently being built in Aldie, VA to accommodate the growing customer population. The service center will offer customer support to those living in both Loudon and Clark Counties. Consequently, the new service center is designed to better serve and respond to the needs of customers.
Ironically, nearly 85 percent of NOVEC’s customer base lives in Loudon County, and are within a 5-mile radius of the service center. Project managers estimate that it will take approximately two and half years to complete the project. Once the new service center will is complete it will feature:
- A new warehouse and office location.
- A covered parking garage for service vehicles.
- A vehicle maintenance building to service vehicles for repairs
The Type of Work
Our team will install a fluid applied air barrier for this job. A fluid-applied air barrier offers performance advantages over other building wraps and traditional asphalt impregnated felt or paper moisture barriers. Consequently, a fluid applied air barrier protects sheathing and rough openings from weather damage during and after construction, minimizing associated repair or replacement costs.,/p>
As a matter of fact, fluid applied air barriers provide a few competitive advantages.
- Structural/full adherence creates rigidity and stability under air pressure loads, including the wind.
- A fluid applied air barrier can be “value engineered” into bids and is easy to estimate. ,
