HOW DOES FOAM INSULATION IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR STAFF OCCUPYING THE HOOVER BUILDING?

The Herbert C. Hoover Building renovation project is designed to create a warm, friendly, and  energy efficient environment for everyone. Building Engineers suggested adding Foam Insulation to help improve indoor air quality for those who work at the Hover Building everyday. The entire project replaces all of the main buildings existing structure. Plans include adding additional space, and keeping the main lobby, hall, and the office of the Secretary of Commerce.  Renovations include a combination of the latest  energy efficient building structures and a high performance work space layouts.

Type of Work

Our team will use  spray foam insulation and an air barrier material throughout the entire project.  Our Spray foam is designed to fill any shaped cavity, and follows to most construction materials, creating assemblies with very low air penetration. All buildings insulated and air sealed with spray foam insulation must be designed to include adequate fixed ventilation/ outdoor air supply for the best type of indoor air quality.
