Type of Work
Our team of building scientist are installing a blue skin self-adhesive air barrier for this specific project. What is a blue skin self-adhesive air barrier? Strangely enough, a blue skin air barrier is a type of bandage that holds firmly together with a rubberized asphalt compound that’s laminated on blue film. Finally, blue skin air barriers don’t allow air, water, and vapor moisture to pass through them. Blue skin self-adhesive wraps stick very quickly to building material surfaces like concrete blocks, primed steel, aluminum, metal, and plywood.
