The Signet is born from a collaborative effort between a talented group of artists and builders. Architects Franck & Lohsen have combined timelessness with modern sensibilities to give The Signet its distinctive presence, creating a building that will never go out of style, but seems as though it has always been there. Interior designer Bill Rooney, known for his work on famed hotels like New York’s St. Regis and Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Hotel, now brings his formidable creativity to the residential world with The Signet. The unique character of this landmark residence reflects his belief that every project should be one-of-a-kind. The Signet brings the conveniences of in-town luxury condominium living to McLean. The real estate investment and development firm announced today the commencement of sales and the range of pricing for residences at The Signet – a stunning, upscale condominium property located at 6900 Fleetwood Road in the heart of downtown McLean. The first new residential development McLean has seen in more than a decade, The Signet offers 123 refined residences on six levels with an expansive range of floor plans atop 5,000 square feet of street-level retail. The Signet is comprised of one-, two- and 3-bedroom + den condominium residences, many of which feature oversized terraces or balconies, with prices ranging from $800,000 to over $2 million. Amenities planned for the project include a club room with a kitchen, a fitness center with sauna and steam rooms, and a courtyard with attractively landscaped social areas. The Signet will be boundaried by small parks on the northwest, northeast and southwest perimeters of the building, on both Fleetwood and Elm Streets. Scope of the job For this job the crew from Cameron Building Envelope Building Specialist used Spray Foam Insulation. SPF is a versatile energy efficient material that provides many solutions for commercial construction markets. Spray foam insulation, when properly installed is both an air barrier and when closed cell foam is used at the proper depth a vapor barrier. Spray foam insulation offers a complete energy performance solution in commercial design. Spray foam provides a cost effective, ideal means to completely insulate interior side stud cavities, while eliminating the potential for internal convection currents that could otherwise reduce performance.
