Inova Cancer Institute Is Coming To Fairfax, VA

The Inova Schar Cancer Institute is the first of many new renovation projects happening at its new 90-acre campus. Formally the Exxon Mobile headquarters, the 264,000 square foot facility is scheduled for completion in 2018. Crews are working on the main building first. Almost, the entire main building will have a newly designed look once construction is complete. Due to, advances in technology the new facility includes plans for a pharmacy and oncology clinic. In addition, to the renovated facility, a new 78,000 square foot addition is under construction and will include a nuclear medical suite, and a  breast cancer clinic. Also, a newly constructed pavilion will serve as the cancer institutes main entrance.

Our team used spray foam to complete the job. Consequently, spray foam controls moisture, air infiltration, and is a superior form of insulation. We also used a blue skin wrap that’s designed to protect the structure of the building from mold, and it helps make the building energy efficient.
