Fairmont Heights High School (Replacement)
This $78.8 million dollar construction project will replace the existing facility being used for Fairmont Heights High School in Prince George’s County.
The new and improved Fairmont Heights High School will be located in Hyattsville, MD and will cover 193,000 square feet of land. The plan includes enhanced layouts, separating the academic/administrative corridors from the gym, cafeteria, and auditorium. This is being done in an effort to provide students/faculty an environment in which learning and recreational activities can be enjoyed simultaneously, without any distractions. The development will also provide new athletic facilities (e.g. a stadium, soccer field, baseball field) for students and staff.
Scope of Work
For this project, Cameron Building Envelope Specialists installed Spray Foam Insulation. The Fairmont Heights High School Replacement Project will be constructed in three phases and is expected to reach completion in the summer of 2017.
