Arnold Elementary School Replacement School
SPRAY POLYURETHANE FOAM INSULATION MAKES LIFE EASIER AT LOCAL SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS
In 2014 the Anne Arundel County Board of Education voted to replace Arnold Elementary School. A new school is being built and will open 2019. Parents whose children go to school at Arnold Elementary school gave several examples of mold growing. Students have even told their parents that they’ve had trouble breathing at times when in class during the day. Arnold Elementary has never been renovated before during the schools 45 year history.
De-humidifiers are used year round to control moisture and water damage. The school has a history of flooding problems. The new school will cost about $16 million dollars to build. Students who attend Arnold Elementary school will be taking classes at nearby Magthony Middle School over the next two years until the new building is done. The new Arnold Elementary school will new classrooms, computers, fresh paint, and a beautiful playground.
Scope of Work
This job will not be easy but we have a great group of guys that are capable of doing a great job. Our team members will attempt to install a substance known as Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation. The Spray Polyurethane foam will prevent mold from growing inside of the building. Spray foam will also prevent moisture and water damage from happening. The Spray foam also makes it easier for students to breath fresh air instead of air that is harmful to their health.
