100 K Street falls within one of Washington DC’s most impressively-redeveloped neighborhoods.
Currently being constructed on this street is a 13-story, 222-unit apartment building. Located just eight blocks from the U.S. Capitol and three blocks from Union Station, these residential apartments lie in the heart of the district and come with luxury amenities such as a private bar and lounge, fitness center, rooftop terrace (overlooking the National Mall), and ground-floor retail.
Scope of Work
Our team of building science experts will be installing an
air barrier. The reason why air barriers are used in hospitals is that the vapor barrier impedes the transfer of water vapor. Where it is placed in an assembly and its accessibility is a function of climate, the characteristics of the materials that comprise the assembly and the interior conditions.
