The Wharf in Washington D.C.
The Wharf, the $2 billion world-class development within walking distance of the National Mall in Washington D.C. has started construction.
The Wharf is a huge development project. Twenty seven acres. Three million square feet of mixed use space. Fourteen hundred residences. Three hotels.
And it will change the face of D.C. as it becomes a central place for living, working, and tourism.
We are excited to be the building envelope contractor for this transformative project. It’s one that we’ll tell our grandkids about.
Our work on The Wharf will take years as we assist the construction effort. One of the greatest challenges of The Wharf is the diversity of architecture. There are 15 signature buildings planned for the property, including a conference center and concert hall.
Given the complexity and high-profile of the project, it’s essential that we do our best work.
Our best work is not just the expert application of spray foam insulation, air/vapor barriers, and thermal barriers. Our best work is doing our part to make sure that the entire project stays on time and on budget.
This project means too much to the developers, the general contractors, the investors, and ultimately the community for us not to hit a home run. “Fast. Accurate. Done.” means more now than ever.
Enjoy this video and these pictures. This is a gorgeous project and we are so excited to serve as the building envelope specialist for The Wharf in Washington, D.C.
